University
I graduated in 2019 with a First Class Honours degree in Textiles in Practice from Manchester School of Art, specialising in print design and mixed media. My work during university was centred around the idea of play, exploring colour, texture, interaction, and experimentation through a multidisciplinary approach. I was particularly interested in creating playful and immersive work that encouraged curiosity and engagement through materials and making processes.
Throughout my degree, I combined print, bold shapes, and found materials to create mixed media outcomes that blurred the boundaries between craft, installation, and surface design. My practice focused heavily on hands-on experimentation and storytelling, which continues to influence my work today.
During my time at university, I was selected as a New Designers exhibitor and received several awards, including the AON Community Art Award, the RNIB North West Exhibition Award, and the Belly Button Design Award.
